Rain

"Into each life some rain must fall" ~ Aetherian.  I heard this in a song and it inspired me to write this post.  Have you ever looked at your life and have felt that it is just falling apart and nothing seems to be going in the right direction for you?  Have you felt that you have been stuck out in the rain for quite some time now?  Often times I feel myself feel like I am in the rain and that the sun will never break through.  There will be things in life that we cannot control and those events or things will bring the rains.  Yes those times will and can lead us down some trying times, however those trying times are there to help you prepare for a brighter future.  We often times cannot see past what we are currently going through in life, we lose sight of who we are and who we want to become.  We have to look at the rain as a platform to success.  Let's think about that for a second, you may be wondering if I am crazy for saying that, but what comes from the rain?  Yes pain and sorrow in this analogy, but also new life comes from the rains.  Life begins to grow out of the ground from rain.  Trees begin to grow, flowers begin to bloom, fish begin to flourish and the list can continue on and one.  But what I am getting at here is that yes during this rainy season we often times forget that we are growing.  Let those experiences help shape you into a better version of yourself.  Each time you get caught in the rain is another opportunity for growth.  I know that when you are going through an instance of being in the rain it is extremely difficult to think of it as an opportunity to grow, but see if you can find the light through the clouds.  In the world that we live in the two (rain and shine) go hand in hand, each one has an impact on the other.  The sun can break through the darkest clouds and shine it's rays down on the earth.  Why can't this happen for you in your struggles?  The sun can break through your rainy season and help you grow.  You have the ability to see through what you are currently going through and I want to say: keep up the fight.  In the end the fight will help you become better and you may be able to help others along your way.

For today: Do not let the rains of life slow you down, but instead use them as a growth opportunity for the better days ahead.  Yes the rains can last a while but that just means you are becoming stronger and stronger with each drop that hits.  Let the sun dry up those moments of rain in your life and bloom into the person who you strive to be.  At times that is the hardest part of what we face, but if you don't give up then you will never know how strong you will become.  Fight past the rains today and find your sun and show the world how great and wonderful you are.  Do not let the rains beat you into submission but rather let them fuel you to further your dreams.
