To Be Wealthy

How many times have you walked down the street in your city and have seen someone who looks like they have it all?  Have you passed by them and wonder how nice it must be to have what they do?  How many times have we taken for granted the times where we can walk down the street and hold someone's hand.  How many times have we gone to a park to let your kids play and or have fond memories of when you used to play.  Do you ever look at the world and wonder what is next?  I know that at times we scroll through Facebook and other forms of social media and see others who have the flashy cars and the big homes and pretty much everything they could ever want.  Sometimes, I sit there and wonder what it must be like to have all that I could ever want.  I dream of the big house that has 10 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms all with TVs in them.  I see all of the nice cars in the drive way and think about how nice that must be...  I think everyone has had that thought once or twice in their life, the worries just seem to wash away with those thoughts.  However, never take for granted what you have in front of you.  I look around my home and what I see is a million times better than any big house and nice car could ever be.  I may not have everything that I dream about, but what I do have I am proud of.  I have a family who I love unconditionally and I wouldn't trade that for the world.  Take what you have as a positive and not a negative.  I know that we often times seek of being better than where we are now, but what if we found happiness where we are?  What if we put aside the image that a big house, money and cars makes us wealthy.  I am wealthy in my own right, my family and I strive to give the best life we can for our kids and we do.  It may not look like what others have and that is OK.  We are happy with what we have and it makes us better.  I want so badly for you to stand up for who you are.  I want you to see that just because someone may have something better than you does not mean what you have is diluted.  You are far richer than what you could ever imagine.  Somewhere in this world, someone would give up their everything to be where you are in life right now.  They would take that opportunity that you have and they would make the best of that situation.  We often times get caught up in what others have and look past what we do.  I know that things are always easier said than done, but you are amazing and you are wealthy in your own right.

For today, do not let anyone else tell you other wise.  You show off to the world your wealth.  You show off your happiness and in return, try to better others around you.  I know that we walk past many people a day and wonder how nice it must be with what they have.  However you may not know their struggle.  What appears amazing on the outside could be in ruins on the inside.  Take this life in stride, we only get one chance at this and what we do with it is solely up to you.  Do not take for granted what you have been given and what you have earned, you are rich, you are amazing and you should be proud of that.  Live your best life today and don't let someone else's image cut yours down.  Stand tall for who you are and be the best version of yourself.  When we learn to let go of what the world says is wealthy and beauty, we then are able to begin living.  Living for what matters, living for others and we have the chance to make a difference in this world everyday, take your chance today and be better and wealthier than you were yesterday.

Be A Man

Many times I wonder what I can write about that would be uplifting to someone who battles the same things that I do.  A lot of times I want to repeat what I have already written and it is tough coming up with something new to say.  I feel like a lot of times we always hear "oh be a man" or "You'll be fine".  But a lot of times it is tougher than expected to do what others give you advice about.  I find that mental health in individuals who has anxiety and depression is important to me and I don't want you to just "be a man" or "you'll be ok", I truly want you to be ok with who you are and what this journey has taught you.  I was recently trying to explain what anxiety was to me and I found it tough.  I found it tough to express what exactly it is that I feel on a given day.  It was a struggle to explain the emotions that I feel when I have entered into a public place or am put into a situation where I know that I have to face my demo...
